A fire alarm technician’s principal responsibilities include the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems. You install fire alarm control panels, detectors, sensors, and notification systems by following design plans and requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that all components are correctly connected, wired, and programmed. You also perform routine maintenance and inspections to verify the system’s correct operation.
1. Experience in installation of FACP & related devices
2. Strong knowledge in addressable and conventional fire alarm system
3. Experience in installation of PA
4. Experience in installation of Agent release control system and peripherals
5. Experiences in trouble shooting of FACS & Agent release system
6. Experience in Termination of cables and wires
7. Experience in MS applications.
8. Excellent experience in cable dressing
9. Strong knowledge in Electrical & Electronics fundamentals
10. Knowledge in conduiting, glanding & crimping
